In 2020 Attorney General William Barr and the acting Director of National Intelligence, Richard Grenell, argued before a judge that revealing anything about "Saudi connections to the 9/11 plot would imperil national security... and that even its justification for that secrecy needed to remain asecret." Barr told the judge, releasing documents "would reveal information that could...harm...state secrets..." Many families wondered how American national security would be imperiled by 9/11 families suing the Saudis? Are there classified documents that point not only to Saudi complicity, but to the United States itself?
