Archive of Interviews: April 2020

Help! Mom! The Swamp is in My School!:
Socialism 101 for Tots
For Beyond 50's "Political" talks, listen to an interview with Katherine DeBrecht. She is the proud deplorable and mother of three.  She is the writer of a full-color, illustrated book that's a "YUGE lesson in Socialism and MAGA."  The story chronicles brothers Tommy and Lou and other kids from Bradford Plymouth School as they run a bake sale to earn money for their school supplies.  After a series of usual leftist suspects start forcing their socialist policies on their bake sale, the kids turn to Donaldus Magnus (President Trump in his signature blue suit with a red cape) to make the school great again.  Even what DeBrecht calls the "complicit legacy media" is not spared.  Rachel Maddow and Chuck Toddie wear Pravda name tags and the recent row over "fake news" between the satirical site The Babylon Bee and CNN appears in the background in an illustration.  DeBrecht goes further, touching on the recent impeachment trial of President Trump, as Congressman Schifty finds out sixth hand about a phone call overheard by a hamster.  She points out a little kangaroo that appears throughout the book "as a subtle reminder of the kangaroo court that presided over the worst witch hunt and hoax in American history."

Miracle Minded Manager:
A Modern-Day Parable About How to Apply
"A Course in Miracles" in Business
For Beyond 50's "Business" talks, listen to an interview with John Murphy.  He offers insightful lessons about how to overcome fear and eliminate stress, both at work and at home.  It is based on his thirty-five years of real-life experience as a business consultant and applying the spiritual ideas of "A Course in Miracles," including the Law of Attraction to everyday challenges.

Hidden Meanings Behind
the "Parasite" Movie (Spoilers)
Selected by "Conscious Movie Reviews," "Parasite" is an action and adventure drama from South Korea. Living in a half basement apartment that's cramped, the Kim family struggled to survive financially. When the son, Ki-Woo, got a visit from Min-hyuk, a friend at school, he provided an opportunity to earn great money as a private English tutor for the wealthy Park family. This review is not about pointing out the class struggles within the film, but to show in a symbolic way, the progression of a fatal parasitic (or viral) infection that affects the body, mind and spirit.

Money Ball Medicine:
Thriving in the New, Data-Driven Healthcare Market
For Beyond 50's "Emerging Technology" talks, listen to an interview with Harry Glorikian.  He'll explain about what a new data-driven healthcare system could look like when implemented on a global basis.  Data and cutting-edge analytics are already advancing healthcare and creating new and evolving business opportunities.  When a new viral outbreak such as coronavirus occurs, having the right data and knowing how to use it can be the keys to containing the crisis — and saving lives. With accurate data, we can identify new threats, warn at-risk populations, mobilize a rapid response, and develop effective diagnostic tests and vaccines.

Earth Speaks Up
In celebration of Earth Day, listen to an interview with Mary McNerney. She offers a dynamic, new perspective on Earth and your role here. She'll talk about Earth as a sentient and communicating being. Find out how to attune to Earth's voice and vibration; connect to the beneficial energy and wisdom which is Earth's essence; the deeper meaning of Solstice; the creative energy of rock formations; and more. McNerney will explain that we each have an important role to play in the health and well-being of our planet.

How to Stay Sane in a World Gone Mad
For Beyond 50's "Sustainable Living" talks, listen to an interview with Bob Hillary.  He'll share his secret of SLOW living and 21 practices to help simplify your life, based on his experience living without a phone, internet, or running water, and living completely off the land. In today's digitalized world we are constantly switched on, scrolling and stressed. Hillary made a decision to reject this way of living after it made him gravely ill.  How did he cure himself? He abandoned city life and moved completely off the grid, living in a yurt in the Welsh mountains for two years.  He relied completely on the produce of the land.

Gemstone & Diamond Therapy for the
Healing of Our Inner Bodies
For Beyond 50's "Natural Healing" talks, listen to an interview with Jennifer Marcenelle.  She is a Board Certified Holistic Registered Nurse and Certified Gemstone and Diamond Therapy Practitioner.  She'll explain that we're multi-dimensional beings with energetic anatomy and so is Mother Earth. Mother Earth is raising her vibratory rate and all of us are experiencing it in a big way.  As part of this, a holistic healing revolution is taking place now.  Find out how and why therapeutic-grade Gemstones and Diamonds are an important part of this to affect our subtle bodies with their healing frequencies.
