Shocking Our Founding Fathers

America's Founding Fathers

Beyond 50
wishes you a Happy 4th of July! In celebration of that, we did a fascinating interview with James Wasserman, the author of "The Secrets of Masonic Washington." According to him, our country's Founding Fathers would be shocked, in horror and dismayed that we've thrown away the values that our country has been founded on. Based on their vision of the "True American Dream," they preferred to be left alone by government that has few powers, practicing the least amount of interference as possible. And, for the people to be self-reliant. If our moral integrity could be left alone, we can explore our own destiny. Instead, we have just the opposite. We've taken things for granted and expect more from government.

We encourage you to tune in to the fascinating conversation called "The Secrets of Masonic Washington" about the symbols and Masonic designs placed in America's capital in Washington, D.C. and how all these monuments fit into the spiritual vision held by the Founding Fathers, who were Freemasons.

This is an important movie for all to watch! You'll think twice about eating nonorganic foods that is really a hazardous, industrial product. Most of our food supply is controlled by a small group of four multinational corporations: Mansanto, Perdue, Tyson and Cargill. Their assembly-line techniques are based on techniques pioneered by the fast-food industry. And, the only way to transform the industry is to do things like buying organic, shopping at a Farmer's Market, and growing your own vegetable garden. (Available in Theatres Everywhere; Genre: Documentary; Running Time: 94 min.)

Afghan StarAfghan Star
After 30 years of war and Taliban rule, many Afghans are tasting democracy. The film follows four young finalists who comepete to become the top performer in Tolo TV's "Afghan Star" and risking their lives for doing it. You'll find the mix of politics and entertainment fascinating as "Pop Idol" mania takes of their war-torn country. (Available in Select Thetres; Genre: Documentary; Running Time: 1 hr., 28 min.)

The Hurt LockerThe Hurt Locker
It's a gripping film about three men of conflicting personalities working together in Iraq as part of the Army's elite to disarm homemade bombs or Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs)They are in constant, dangerous situations, taxing them physically and mentally. The story is based on a military person's declassified, wartime experiences. (Available in Theatres Everywhere; Genre: Action/Adventure, War, Drama; Running Time: 2 hrs, 7 min.)
