The Floranium:
An EKG Machine for Plants

floranium

If you've seen the blockbuster film, "Avatar," there are scenes showing the plants and trees having electromagnetic conductivity to interact with each other through their root systems and the blue alien beings.

Is it possible that we are all physically, emotionally and spiritually connected to plants and flowers? Like a beautiful bouquet of flowers that creates an aura you can "feel" in a room.

Beyond 50 would like to thank Martin Heine for gifting us with his elegant, new technology called the Floranium. We've connected the sensor that offers an EKG (electro-cardiogram) reading of the plant, but 400X more powerful. The sensor was pasted to a Christmas Cactus leaf (like in the image above), then we watched the colors change in response to things like our touch, conversation, temperature changes, music, water and other treatments. It's amazing - kind of like a plant mood ring!

We encourage you to get a Floranium as proof that plants are hypersensitive, intelligent life forms that are constantly interacting with us. Ancient cultures worldwide have recognized this to interact on different levels with them. You can read more about it in the book, "The Secret Life of Plants."

Heine is doing more to advance his technology to show that plant and tree life can detect shifts in weather patterns, days before they happen. This would be ideal to warn against impending hurricanes, tsunamis, droughts and other destructive forces in Nature.

Amish Millionaire,
Amos Miller

Amish

For Beyond 50's "Business Basics" talks, listen to an interview with Amos Miller and Sally Fallon (of Weston A. Price Foundation). In his early 30s, Amos built Miller Farm, a nutrient-dense food company in Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania to earn over $1.8 million a year in sales without using modern conveniences: no car, cell phone, online social networks, copier or fax machine. He is an example of taking an old-fashioned approach to doing business.

Amos' type of business is part of an emerging trend in the food industry that is expanding on organic to include nutrient-dense foods, where the farmers have grass-fed (not grain-fed) cows and free-range chickens that are naturally raised. We recommend that you encourage your local grocer to stock these healthier foods and offer them at reasonable prices.
