Currency Expert,
Andrew Gause:
How Will Our Next President Create Good-Paying Jobs?
For Beyond 50's "Finance" talks, listen to an interview with Andrew Gause.  He is back on the show to help you understand Which candidate, Hillary or Trump, has the better plan to get unemployed Americans back to their desks, construction sites, and assembly lines - making a livable wage and hopefully a whole lot more?  Mrs. Clinton is proposing a huge program to rebuild the country’s infrastructure which would include ports, highways, railroads and other public facilities.  Ten million jobs will be created, she promises.  Donald Trump is promising job creation not by a Federal works program but though enacting tax incentives which he believes will lure back thousands of U.S. businesses and millions of jobs which have fled to foreign countries over the past two decades.  You'll also learn from Gause why "free trade" hasn't worked well for America; what Wall Street is doing well to reach new highs that the rest of the nation is doing poorly; why U.S. businesses have closed their doors to move overseas; and much more.

Wisdom of Your Face:
Face Readings of Vice Presidential Running Mates
Part 2 of 2

Beyond 50 wants to thank Jean Haner for her insights about Mike Pence (Republican), the Vice Presidential running mate of Donald Trump, based on the ancient Chinese Art of Face Readings.

Forehead Wrinkles - Mike has two strong horizontal wrinkles crossing his forehead, showing us that he had some personal challenges during his mid-20s but that as a result he learned some important life lessons that benefit him to this day.

Eyebrows - He has fairly short eyebrows, and these, along with his small nose show us that he’s going to put a priority on “working smart, not hard.” He’s not going go looking for drama or difficulty, and he’s definitely going to focus on efficiency rather than doing things the long way.  There’s also a wide space between his eyebrows, a sign that he can work with a variety of personality types, a good thing for a politician.

Eyes - Mike’s eyes also slant upward ever so slightly, which means he can find opportunities even in unfortunate situations.  His lower eyelids are quite straight, showing that in negotiations, he won’t give away the farm, but it also shows that he cares much more about a “win” than a “win-win.”

Nose - There are a few slight horizontal wrinkles across the bridge of his nose.  These are examples of lines you don’t want to get, because they indicate a focus on everyone else’s needs while disregarding your own too often.  These wrinkles also show the possibility of health problems with digestion.

Purpose Lines - The wrinkles that come down from the sides of the nose toward the mouth are called “Purpose Lines” in Chinese face reading.  Purpose Lines show whether we’re becoming more and more authentic in life, whether we’re being true to ourselves.  If you are, then you begin to fulfill your purpose in the world.  So at age 57, Mike still really has no Purpose Lines of any consequence, and that’s a

Mouth - His mouth is relatively small, which is a sign he can be pretty self-sufficient, but it can also mean he doesn’t have a natural sense of how to “do” relationships very well.  But what makes me worry is not the size of his mouth, but how he tends to hold it. If you google images of Mike Pence, you’ll notice how often his mouth turns down severely, and that is a real concern, for two big reasons:
1 – Someone who frequently makes this expression is showing us that he is stuck in a negative attitude, and that he carries deep feelings of disappointment and dissatisfaction that he projects onto others.
2 – But the fact that he turns his mouth down to such an extreme degree goes beyond a pattern of disappointment. This is an expression that actually has to do with feelings of shame.

Chin - The chin shows the depth of someone’s willpower and tenacity. Mike has an average chin, so has an average quantity of these traits, but they’re not such an important part of his nature.  If the reddishness on his chin isn’t from a sunburn, it could indicate health issues with the bladder, or possibly hormonal problems.
