Daring to Date Again

 Daring to Date Again
Friday, February 13
12 p.m. (PT)/2 p.m. (Central)/3 p.m. (ET)
 A Live & Online Broadcast

In celebration of Valentine's Day, listen to Beyond 50's interview with Ann Anderson Evans.  After taking a nineteen-year hiatus from dating, she'll talk about her search for a new partner.  With no mentors or guidebooks for "wome of a certain age" she dove into the internet dating pool head-first.  Over the course of dozens of dates, hundreds of emails, and several online matchmaking sites, she dated a much younger policeman, had a brief encounter with a transvestite, and cyberstalked a man she met while on another date in a bar.  She even traveled to Zimbabwe to spend three weeks with a man she'd only communicated with by email!  Evans is adventurous, frank, gutsy and just a bit nutty.

A Course of Love
For Beyond 50's "Spirituality" talks, listen to an interview with Mari Perron.  She
will talk about Jesus dictating "A Course of Love" to her over a period of three years, just as "A Course in Miracles" was dictated to Helen Schucman in the late 1960s to early 70s.  A devout Catholic, he referred to Perron as "First Receiver" and the initial words she heard inwardly from him in 1998 was "This is a course in miracles. It is a required course.  The time for you to take it is now.  You are ready and miracles are needed."

She is a research scientist focused on developing eduational programs in the field of Holistic Women's Health.  She'll talk about pelvic falling issues that can impact a woman's quality of life.  Did you know that approximately 50% of all women are affected by pelvic floor dysfunction including urinary or fecal incontinence, bladder urgency, persistent pelvic pain and bladder or uterine prolapse? Or that 78% of mature women (over 65) can be corrected in the comfort and privacy of your own home without using medications or resorting to surgery.
