Tour Farmer Tom's
Organic Cannabis Farm

For Beyond 50's "Green Living" talks, listen to an interview with Farmer Tom.  He'll talk about his organic Cannabis farm in Vancouver, Washington.  Through Kush Tourism, you can take their behind-the-scenes educational tour of the world of legalized Cannabis in Vancouver and Seattle.  Farmer Tom will talk  about his farm's sustainable growing techniques: from the genetics to breeding practices.  You'll also learn how medicinal Cannabis, especially specific strains, can be used to treat nausea, pain management, heart disease, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, liver inflammation, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), social anxiety disorder, and other serious medical conditions.

Many strains of medical Cannabis that are specifically grown for having a higher concentration of the active ingredient Cannabidiol (CBD), but with a very low amount of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) that gives the euphoric effect.  "Charlotte's Web" is an example of being commercially grown for medicinal puposes - used by children and adults and taken as an edible, in tincture form, or with a vaporizer.

Two years ago, a medical cannabis facility in Israel created the "Avidekel" strain that is the world's first CBC-enriched cannabis plant with absolutely no THC.

Currently, only Canada classifies Cannabidiol (CBD) as a Schedule II drug.  For being a natural, healing alternative, many hope that CBD would be supported and recommended by doctors throughout the U.S.

Beyond 50 encourages you to visit Farmer Tom in Vancouver.  For those who have taken a
tour of his farm, visitors found it to be a surprisingly informative and fun experience.
