For Beyond 50's "Personal Growth" talk, listen to an interview with David Menashe.  He was a beloved, award-winning high school English teacher with stage four brain cancer.  He'll share his inspirational journey.  For six years, Menasche suffered catastrophic seizure, lost mobility on the left side of his body and eighty percent of his vision, but most of all, he lost his ability to teach.  On Christmas Eve in 2012, Menasche went on a heartwarming quest to visit his former students to see if he made a difference in their lives, before it was too late.  To date, he has put in 8,000 miles, more than 30 cities, and over 100 days of travel.  He's been to 11 states and visited over seventy-five students.  From exploring the Caverns in Virginia, to drinking Absinthe in New York City to finally getting a look at the Pacific Ocean.

EFT: Tap Your Troubles Away
For Beyond 50's "Personal Growth" talk, listen to an interview with Eric Singer, an expert on Hypnosis and EFT. He'll talk about ETF (Emotional Freedom Technique) that is all about results and can clear anxiety, fear, anger and reduce pain simply by tapping on the bodies acupressure points while thinking about the negative emotion. It is simple to think about what bothers or pains us. Imagine doing just that while tapping on 10 points on the body and eliminating that negative emotion permanently.  EFT is perhaps the most rapid and effective non drug therapy available, providing permanent results within 15 minutes.  All negative emotions reside in our energetic system and tapping provides an actual electrical current that move that emotion from it place and releases it from the individual.

The Legend of Mick Dodge:
     Forrest Gump in Middle Earth

For Beyond 50's "Green & Sustainable" talks, listen to an interview with Mick Dodge.  Twenty-five years ago, he (now 62) left the modern world behind.   Dodge ventured deep into the Hoh Rainforest in the Pacific Northwest, kicked off his shoes and made his home in the trees, hidden in the moss.  He was only rarely seen by the outside world, until he allowed the media to record his unusual life.  Dodge is a quirky character whose unique brand of Zen comes from living off the land and off the grid.  Every day in Mick's life is a different adventure; some days are spent hanging in the trees, others are spent bedding down with elk, building a mountain-man raft or running barefoot for miles.  Nights are spent in tree stumps.
Mick's Advice for the Aspiring Adventurer:
"Stand in your bare soles, take two fingers place them at the corner of your mouth, push your mouth up into a grin, and then get on with it. You have a primal body memory in you, all of us do, go on the adventure and release it. Then share with others what you discover."
