Laminine: A Natural, Syergistic Superfood
For Beyond 50's "Natural Healing" talks, listen to an interview with Stephanie Wilson, a Laminine distributor.  If you've ever wondered how a young person can extent so much energy and recover almost instantly, the real answer lies in the essential compound of Fibroblast Growth Factor (FGF).  Readily available in the human placenta, FGF diminishes over time, vanishing as we age.  A superfood product called Laminine fills a crucial missing link in the chain of life. This natural supplement is believed to be the only other known source of (FGF) in adults.  You'll learn about how it has helped many around the world gain their health and well-being.

February is Black History Month

In celebration of Black History Month, Beyond 50 has invited Gene Greisman, Ph.D. on the program to delve into the obvious parallels between Presidents Lincoln and Obama.   He has an encyclopedic knowledge of Lincoln, coupled with a lifelong study of high achievers.

Here are some of the Lincoln-Obama parallels:
Both presidents were layers, serving in the Illinois legislature and in Congress; both overtook party favorites to get into the White House; both gain attention through big speeches - Lincoln at the Cooper Institute and Obama as keynote speaker at the Democratic National Convention; neither one could carry the Deep South or Texas; they are the oly two politicians ever to be elected president who outspokenly opposed an American war.  Lincoln opposed the Mexican War, and Obama, the Iraq War.  Both are talented athletes.  Lincoln a wrestler, and Obama, a basketball player; both love poetry and wrote poems in their youth; both are objects of intense love and hatred, as well as assassination threats; both succeed presidents - James Buchanan and George W. Bush - who suffer a dramatic drop in popularity before they leave office.  Both criticized controversial Supreme Court decisions; both are loved abroad; both adopt a cautious foreign policy; both are sympathetic toward immigrants; both contend with states' rights advocates; both advocate women's issues; both are obscure politicians who overtake the frontrunner of the party.  In each case, the frontrunner is a New York Senator; both are called unpatriotic, divisive and extreme.  There are even more similarities that are fascinating, uncanny and mysterious.

On a spiritual level, the astrological configuration of our times are a match with the Civil War period.  Our society has been deeply divided on many issues, from the gun debate to our economy, very similar as when Lincoln was in office over 200 years ago.

Is it possible that Obama is a reincarnation of Lincoln, playing out similar lessons on a national and global scale, but under different circumstances?
