A Live & Online Broadcast
For Beyond 50's "Green & Sustainable" talks, listen to an interview with Jan Spencer. He gave his quarter acre, suburban property in Eugene, Oregon an "extreme" makeover, based on a permaculture model of sustainability. His grass is gone and replaced by edible landscaping all over; solar installed, plants grown vertically, about 6,500 gallons of rainwater is stored in 3 tanks, and his home has served as a community resource. He'll show you how to transform your suburban home to also affect the neighborhood, communities and culture. Interview co-hosted by Daniel Davis and college intern, Devin DeCuna.

He is an ordinary guy from a hardscrabble background and became a tough talking naval engineer. He'll talk about his experiences of dying three times and his almighty fight against stage 4 Lung, Bone and Spinal Cancer. During his near-death experiences, Bennett was visitated by beings of light, got a life review and received a vision about his future from "the other side."
For Beyond 50's "Spirituality" talks, listen to an interview with Roshi Jan Chozen Bays, MD from Oregon. She'll explain that most of our fear arises from fear of death.
