Here is Mariel's recommended list of seasonal foods to shop for this Fall:
  • Fruits - almonds, apples, asian pears, blueberries, grapefruit, kiwis, melon, pears, persimmons, tangerines.
  • Vegetables - beans, beets, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, endive, fennel, green beans, parsnips, pumpkins, rapini, sunchokes, sweet potatoes, swiss chard, turnips, yams.
  • Nuts - chestnuts.
