12 - 1 p.m. (PT)/3 - 4 p.m. (ET)
A Live & Online Broadcast
www.Beyond50Radio.com

For Beyond 50's "Medical Care" talks, listen to film producers Jan Brehm and Ron Grant (in photo above) of Planet Sweet Pea about their video called "Blitzed by Menopause." It's both funny and educational - made for men to understand their partner's menopausal experiences that can be a source of conflict in a marriage. You'll enjoy the mix of good acting, using spoofs and parodies; a medical talk by Dr. Tori Hudson, a naturopath; and a real-life coaching session with couples challenged by menopause in the end.

Wow, What a School!
Russian School

Beyond 50 would like to thank Ringing Cedars Press for the opportunity to review their short documentary called "The School: Humanity's New Future." We were thoroughly impressed with the kind of holistic education taught in a remote area of Russia. We'd like for you to pass on this information to others - inspiring them to transform their area's own educational system for kids on a grassroots level.

Between the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains lies a school that was designed, built and decorated entirely by students ages 7 - 17-years old withouth adult supervision. They cover the entire high school curriculum in one year (without using rote memorization), while learning three foreign languages, martial arts and dance, and get official Master's degrees by the time they are seventeen.

They cook their meals, do administrative work, and write their own textbooks. The students contemplate the meaning of the Universe and swim in mountain streams. They dance, draw, sing, and pick strawberries in the surrounding fields. They have no interest in TV or video games. They do not prepare themselves for "life" - they live every moment they breathe. And, the students can come and go as they please, and their parents pay no fees! With a waiting list in the thousands, this school completely redefines the word "education."

Beyond 50 is making arrangements with Ringing Cedars Press to interview two students from the school in Feburary of 2010. We encourage you to tune in and join the conversation.
