If you're familiar with alternative energy forms (like solar, wind, geothermal), there is another kind called free energy. The inventors who harness this power create amazing technologies like a car run by a water fuel cell, a battery charger powered by the earth, or a home furnace driven by permanent magnets - most are little known by the public. The most famous of these inventors is Nikola Tesla (in photo above). For Beyond 50's "Emerging Trends" talks, listen to an interview with Joel Garbon, a leader in the "Free Energy Revolution" to support these unique inventions so they can be made available for use by the masses. He'll also discuss about his book called "Breakthrough Power: How Quantum Leap New Energy Inventions Can Change the World."

Reduce Your CardioMetabolic Risk After 50
The latest medical findings point to the importance of two new diagnostic tests: Hemoglobin A1c and C-Reactive Protein - in addition to traditional risk markers in determining overall cardiometabolic risk. These important tests provide vital information to help monitor average glucose levels and inflammation in the body to further determine cardiometabolic risk. For Beyond 50's "Medical Care" talks, listen to an interview with Dr. Sanjay Kapur, Scientific Director with ZRT Lab about your heart health and a comprehensive, yet simple blood spot test you can take at home called the CardioMetabolic Profile 1.

A Journal for Jordan
This is about our soldiers in Iraq unlike any other. Before falling into battle, a soldier named First Sergeant Charles Monroe King wrote in a journal about life lessons for his unborn son, Jordan, in case he did not make it home from Iraq. King, 48, was killed on Oct. 14, 2006. His son, Jordan, was seven months old. Within the pages are wrenching accounts of losing men in battle and with advice on everything from withstanding disappointment to behaving on a date. For Beyond 50's "Parenting" talks, listen to an interview with Dana Canedy, the widow of King, about the journal that will be made into a movie by famous actor Denzel Washington.

Multiple Streams of Income
Due to the economy, it's not enough to rely on a work check as the sole source of income, but to have multiple streams of income. Here are some of Beyond 50's best finds to help you build your wealth:

If you're not the entrepreneurial type, then consider getting a self-education in another good paying profession. This resource website offer 120+ vocational courses with online textbooks you can take for FREE!

For the more business-minded, if you read Dane Carlson's blog (who has critiqued thousands of businesses), you'll learn what's new and trendy. Beyond 50 recommends these great network marketing businesses: an at-home face lift, nutraceuticals that support healthy aging, customized DNA nutraceuticals, air to water machines, and a liquid formula to save on gas. You can also earn a lot on commission checks from joining an affiliate program you'd really love to work. Just watch out for scams detected by "The Guru Buster."

As for franchises, we suggest two simpler ones to run like taking inventory of people's belongings at their home/office or driving drunk people in their own car. And, if you want to really be in demand, why not start a "green" business like one of these 75 types.
