The First Thanksgiving

Go back in time with Beyond 50 to the first Harvest Celebration between the Plymouth Pilgrims and Wampanoag Indians in 1621. If you were invited to this historic gathering, here is what the menu would look like to feed 150+ guests for 3 days:

Wild Fowl: Boiled Wild Turkey, Five Deer, Eagles, Crane, Roasted Goose, Swan, Roasted Duck.

Seafood: Cod, Hogshead of Eels, and Clams.

Meat: Roasted Venison with Mustard Sauce, Seal.

Vegetables: Stewed Pumpkin, Peas, Beans, Onions, Lettuce, Radishes and Carrots.

Fruits: Plums & Grapes with Holland Cheese.
