As fear-based dramas (like the economic systems collapsing) are played out, it's important to keep our inner balance. For Beyond 50's "Natural Healing" talks, listen to an interview with Elizabeth Peter of Red Lotus Feng Shui to learn about ancient Chinese practices to live in harmony with nature (even within your own home), have peace of mind, and be prosperous. She'll also explain about natural cycles on a planetary level, based on the Mayan calendar that can give us perspective about our changing times.

Congress, There is a Plan B!
Franklin Roosevelt
"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."
- President Franklin Delano Roosevelt

Beyond 50 received a call earlier this week by Peter Ruckerd of the Lyndon LaRouche Political Action Committee. He wanted to explain that they have the BEST solution to the recent economic collapse that is not a hyperinflationary bailout. It was actually proposed and made successful by President Franklin Roosevelt back in the 1930s - 1940s.

Here is Plan B that has the potential to work again for America's economy:

Step 01: Begin with a Bankruptcy Reorganization and pass the Homeowners and Bank Protection Act (HBPA). You can freeze the trillions of dollars of derivatives and mortgage bank securities and all other financial junk (“toxic waste paper”). Keep the banks open to do legitimate, normal banking functions.

Step 02: Create a two-tiered credit system. Have the government issue several trillions of dollars in government credit for domestic capital investment to do massive rebuilding of the country's infrastructure: build a nationwide high-speed rail system, remodel schools, libraries, rebuild roads and bridges, and other major projects. This can create jobs for many.

Step 03: Replace globalization (“a worldwide fascist slave labor dictatorship where immediate profits go to the small handful of parasites") with a new, global financial system based on fixed exchange rates as President Roosevelt had proposed. There would be no speculation allowed with derivatives and hedge funds. It would be a return to a fair trade policy.

Lyndon LaRouche
*We encourage you to tune in to hear an interview with Harley Schlanger (and possibly world famous Economist Lyndon LaRouche) on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 9 a.m. (PT). They will discuss in detail how this plan is a viable one for the long term that can save our nation's economy.

**Beyond 50 also encourages you to forward this e-newsletter to your Congressional representatives to read about the plan that is a far better alternative to a bailout.
